Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has called on the club's fans to focus their singing on the team and not him.

The Reds are up to fifth in the Premier League table after a resounding 4-1 win over champions Leicester in their first game of the season at Anfield.

Klopp would prefer it if fans stuck to singing his name after the match, rather than during it.

"Please don't sing my name before the game is decided," he told Sky Sports.

"I don't play. It was the same at Arsenal. It is nice but not necessary. I am really on the side of the players. I am responsible for our bad performances, they are responsible for the good performances."
