John Evans was one of the big winners from tonight's Woolies as he took home the award for Favourite Cranky Interview of the Year.

The former Roscommon manager graciously accepted his award on Off The Ball tonight and had a laugh about that interview before giving his take on manager interviews.

"A lot of the interviews are so, so boring with GAA managers. They should open up a small bit. You'd swear that they were minding a crock of gold and any word is going to be used against them and jeepers, it wouldn't be as bad in a court of law as they say," he said.
