Jamaican Olympic relay champion Sherone Simpson has been suspended from athletics for 18 months after testing positive for a banned stimulant.

She admitted the charge after failing a drugs test at last June's Jamaican trials.

Discus thrower Allison Randall has also been suspended for two years after testing positive at the 2013 national trials.
