Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has admitted that he would not have enjoyed playing in the current team.
The Reds are fourth in the Premier League this season under Louis van Gaal, but were knocked out of the League Cup last night by Middlesbrough and criticised for their style of play, particularly in terms of approach play in midfield.
Speaking to BBC Radio Manchester, Scholes was critical of what he has seen so far.
"It's a team now you wouldn't want to play against because they're tightly organised. But it seems he (Van Gaal) doesn't want players to beat men and it's probably not a team I'd have enjoyed playing in," he said.
