Iker Casillas' career at Real Madrid may be entering its final weeks.

Ben Lyttleton spoke to Joe on Off the Ball last night to discuss the curious end to a career of a Spanish legend.

The goalkeeper has become the focus of abuse of Madrid's fans which culminated with a visibly annoyed Casillas playing against Valencia at the weekend.

The Spanish captain was dropped during the Jose Mourinho era in place of Diego Lopez and that is where Casillas' Madrid tenure has started to unravel.

Costa Rican World Cup star Keylor Navas was signed by manager Carlo Ancelotti in the Summer but has been unable to dethrone the Spanish number one.

We also heard about the similarities between Raul and Casillas in the latter stages of their Real careers. Raul played for two years at Schalke after leaving Spain, when his goal scoring powers began to wane yet Casillas continues to stay in the Spanish capital.

Ben also spoke to Joe about the Champions League semi final between Real and Juventus in the Bernabeu on Wednesday evening. The Italian champions welcome back French superstar Paul Pogba after missing the first leg through injury.

There are reasons to give Juventus "plenty of hope but Ben expects Real to advance to the Berlin final against either Barcelona or Bayern Munich.
