The League of Ireland have this week lost another shining star of the league after Chris Forrester moved cross channel to Peterborough United from St Patrick's Athletic.

Speaking last night to Off the Ball, Stuart Byrne told Joe that it was a great move for the Dubliner and should fit straight into the squad after impressing for Pats since the League of Ireland season began in March.

Byrne thinks that Forrester is technically about a League One standard player and the former League winner compared Forrester to Wes Hoolahan.

Former international Mark Kinsella has replaced Johnny McDonell as manager of Drogheda United after their 4-1 loss at the weekend to Limerick.

Byrne also spoke to Joe about Drogheda's conquerors Limerick who are the form side in the table despite being at the foot of the table. Martin Russell is the manager of the side and Byrne thinks that they will overtake at least one of Sligo Rovers, Galway United or Drogheda despite being four points behind the sides.
