Ireland's good start to the World Amateur Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan has continued.
Mayo's Ray Moylette is through to the last-32 after winning a closely fought Men's Light Welter weight division bout against his Greek opponent Alexandros Tsanikidis.
The former European champion says he learned a lot from the win:
Earlier Belfast's Sean McComb eased past his Israeli opponent Almog Briga in the lightweight division by a unanimous decision.
It follows Tommy McCarthy's victory yesterday in the preliminary round in the heavyweight ranks.
Ireland has nine contenders at the championships.
Michael Conlan, Paddy Barnes, Jason Quigley and Joe Ward have all received byes into the last-32 after being seeded in yesterday's draw.
