Ireland midfielder is among the nominees for Championship Player of the Season.

The Brentford player misses Euro 2016 after a leg break last weekend against Ipswich Town but has been recognised after an excellent campaign at club level, which saw him score 14 goals.

Burnley's Andre Gray and Fulham's Ross McCormack are the other players on the three-man shortlist  for 2015-16 Championship Player of the Year.

Scotland international McCormack has 22 league goals, while Gray has 21.

Last year's winner was Norwich striker Patrick Bamford who was at Middlesbrough last season.
