Ireland are up one place to 39th in the latest FIFA rankings after two draws against Sweden and Austria.
Northern Ireland are down 22 places to 119th while England are down three places to 7th.
Reigning European and Spain remain top of the rankings ahead of Germany and Argentina.
The most significant change in the Top sees Ecuador go 10th, Colombia stay 6th, while Croatia goes fourth in the world.
Meanwhile England and Italy drop three places each to 7th and 8th respectively.
Ireland's World Cup qualifying rivals Sweden dropped three places down to 24th. Austria are a lowly 71st but did climb eight places after a late draw with Ireland and a 6 - 0 beating of Faroe Islands.
