The Ireland U17s have been knocked out of the European Championships.

Tom Mohan's side were beaten 1-0 by England in their Group D clash in Bulgaria this evening.

A superbly taken goal from Tottenham's Marcus Edwards midway through the second-half was enough to secure the top spot in the group standings for England as the Irish finished with just a point from their three group matches.
