Two Munster, two Leinster and one Ulster player have been nominated for the ERC Player of the Year award.

Paul O'Connell and Peter O'Mahony represent Munster ahead of this Sunday's Heineken Cup semi-final against Toulon.

Leinster's Sean Cronin and Cian Healy have also been shortlisted along with Ulster's Ruan Pienar.

Steffon Armitage, Matt Giteau and Johnny Wilkinson of Toulon have also been nominated.
