Martin O'Neill's side will arrive in Gelsenkirchen with six points in their pocket and above the World Champions Germany in Group D.

The group was blown wide open last night with the Germans going down 2-0 to Poland in Warsaw.

Midfielder Darron Gibson says Ireland must be confident on Tuesday night:

Roy Keane says they face a different challenge when facing Germany compared to yesterday's 7-0 win against Gibraltar:

England will look to continue their 100% start in Group E this evening when they face Estonia in Tallinn.

Elsewhere in that group, Lithuania play host to Slovenia.

The international break, meanwhile, has heaped more injury woes upon Liverpool.

Winger Lazar Markovic suffered a suspected muscle tear in the first half of Serbia's 1-1 draw with Armenia.

This break has also seen Dejan Lovren suffer an abdominal injury, while Daniel Sturridge suffered a thigh injury on England duty last month.
