Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has signed a new deal that will keep him at the club until 2018.
The move ends speculation about a possible swoop by Manchester United and other clubs interested in acquiring his services.
Terms were agreed last week before he put pen to paper today.
The 29-year-old has spent his entire professional career at Barca, having joined the Catalan club as a 12-year-old.
He has won six La Liga titles, two Copa del Reys and three UEFA Champions Leagues at Barcelona.
