Ireland have beaten Wales by 30 points to 22 at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff in the opening game of this years Six Nations.
Declan Kidney's men led by 27 points early in the second half but had to hold off a Welsh fightback in the last half an hour.
Simon Zebo scored the first Irish try after 10 minutes when he was played in by Brian O'Driscoll.
Zebo had a major hand in the second try with a flick of sublime piece of skill before Cian Healy eventually touched down.
O'Driscoll got the third try just three minutes into the second half, his 46th in an Irish jersey.
Jonny Sexton converted all three tries and has also kicked three penalties.
Alex Cuthbert, Leigh Halfpenny and Craig Mitchell all scored tries for Wales in the second half as Ireland were reduced to 13 men when Rory Best and Conor Murray got yellow.
Next up for Ireland is England at the Aviva next Sunday.
