Annalise Murphy got a rapturous response as Irish fans got to see the silver medal she has taken home from the Rio Olympics.

The sailor appeared on stage at the Sailing Ireland Homecoming at People's Park, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin along with members of Team Ireland's Olympic sailing squad, Saskia Tidey, Andrea Brewster, Matt McGovern and Ryan Seaton.

Scott Evans, who reached the last-16 in the Men's badminton competition was also in attendance as was the Team Ireland hockey team.
