Outside of the perennial challengers for All Ireland titles, it is always good to see other counties enjoying spells of glory.

Take Monaghan for example. Last year they ended a 25-year wait for elite silverware by winning the Ulster title and also came close again this year by reaching the provincial final.

As the Farney County enjoy a renaissance under the management of Malachy O'Rourke, a new video 'Monaghan March' really encapsulates the feeling in the county.

But it goes further with a lovely tie in with Monaghan's revered son, the great poet Patrick Kavangh.

The 30th anniversary of his death is this weekend, November 30th.
