Ian Woosnam, winner of the 1991 Masters and captain of Europe's Ryder Cup-winning team in The K Club has been inducted into World Golf Hall of Fame.
The Welsh golfer led Europe to a joint-record win in 2006, as Europe defeated USA 18.5 - 9.5. It remains Europe's biggest win on home soil in the history of the event.
A two-time European Order of Merit winner, the 58-year-old was one of five, named in the forthcoming class.

This year's Ryder Cup-winning captain Davis Love III was also added to the prestigious list. Love won the 1997 PGA Championship and have a top-four finish in the other three majors throughout his career.
Along with Woosnam and Love, two female golfers, Lorena Ochoa and Meg Mallon have also been given the honour. Ochoa, retired in 2010, having won two major titles. The Mexican also topped golf's world rankings for 158 weeks.
Meg Mallon is a four-time major winner. She was also the first player on the LGPA Tour to shoot a 60 in a round. The 53-year-old was also a multiple Solheim Cup winner.
The broadcaster Henry Longhurst will also be posthumously inducted. Longhurst died in 1978, but was the voice of golf on the BBC throughout the 1950s, 60s and 70s.
New York city will host the induction ceremony in September.
