Keith Wood believes Leinster are missing the retired Brian O'Driscoll as their form comes under increasing scrutiny.

The province are second in their Champions Cup pool after just about edging Harlequins at home, following a defeat the previous week.

Keith Wood and The Irish Times' Gerry Thornley were with us as always for Wednesday Night Rugby and analysed Leinster's issues.

Ireland's former captain felt O'Driscoll's influence is missing.

"I think Leinster are heavily missing Brian O'Driscoll. When you're looking for pure verve and magic that has happened in the past, it isn't there at the moment."

Both he and Gerry agree that Leinster are also missing Sean O'Brien and Cian Healy in a big way.

Keith feels that they are "playing depleted" but also gave his take on head coach Matt O'Connor.

"I find him a little bit uninspiring at the moment. I think he's under huge pressure and I don't know if he is reacting very well in a lot of the press conferences."

Keith also noted JJ Hanrahan's impact for Munster against Clermont, highlighting the creativity he brings.

"He is a little bit more fleet of foot and he sows a little bit of doubt into the mind of the opposition. I thought the way Munster started in particular gave him the opportunity to be able to attack an awful lot more. I thought Munster did start very well," he said.

The lads also discussed the four warm-up games Ireland will face leading into next year's World Cup and how important - or not - they will be.
