It was always going to be very tight and a goalless draw between Real Madrid and Atletico tonight means tension will be at its peak during the Champions League quarter-final second leg between the sides.

But Off The Ball's European football correspondent Graham Hunter felt there could have been more from Atletico.

"It's unusual to see Simeone being timid or getting his call wrong about where he wanted his players to perform and press. I think this is a missed opportunity for Atletico and they'll come out of it lucky not to have conceded an away goal and probably lucky not to have lost 1-0 or 2-1," said Graham.
