Craig Gilroy takes Bowe's place on the left wing, with Ricky Andrew replacing the suspended Jared Payne at full-back.
Paul Marshall also comes in for the injured Ruan Pienaar.
There are wholesale changes in the front row with a first start for Andrew Warwick in at loosehead prop, Rob Herring at hooker and Ricky Lutton at tighthead.
