The greying of hair tells you all you need to know. Just over ten years ago, Jose Mourinho swaggered into Stamford Bridge as the self-styled Special One.

While it certainly feels like just yesterday, much has happened to Mourinho in the intervening years between his two Chelsea spells.

Yet a few traits remain that were always part of his armoury and like every great manager there are issues that can consistently undermine him.

This week on Team 33, we chatted to Mourinho: Anatomy Of A Winner author Patrick Barclay.

The London Evening Standard journalist and columnist interviewed Mourinho's former mentors Louis Van Gaal and Bobby Robson in that book, and has also interviewed the current Chelsea manager.

We touched on a number of topics. For example, the perception of Mourinho as brash and arrogant jars with the way people saw him during his spell as an assistant manager and translator at Barcelona and in Portugal.

We also look at his footballing ideals and how much of an influence his mentors had on his reactive style, as well as the way in which befriending players like ex-Barca captain and manager Pep Guardiola benefited his man-management approach.

But Barclay also speaks to us about Mourinho's vulnerability when it comes to club politics, given that his spells at Benfica, Chelsea (first time round) and Real Madrid saw him eventually come out on the losing side.
