Trainer Philip Fenton has withdrawn his appeal against a three-year ban handed down for drug possession.

Fenton received the ban after being found guilty on eight charges of possessing anabolic steroids and other banned substances following an inspection of his County Tipperary yard in 2012.

Fenton's training licence is revoked as of Wednesday and he will become a disqualified person on March 1st.
