Actress Helen Mirren kept her word at the weekend when she attended a gay festival in a London Park. The organisers of the festival were the victims of her foul-mouthed tirade a couple of weeks ago. They were guilty of placing a samba band outside the theatre where her play 'The Audience' is showing. The drummers were promoting the festival.
Immediately after she ran out of the Gielgud Theatre and let roar at the band, she apologised for losing her cool, saying she was 'very upset'. Mirren admitted she must have looked like a btty old woman.
The As One in the Park event went ahead yesterday in Victoria Park, and - as good as her word - Mirren was snapped attending the event, with her husband Taylor Hackford.
The 67-year-old dressed head to toe in pink for the gay event.
