Padraig Harrington’s woes on the course continue as he missed the cut. The Dubliner carded a miserable round of 78, 6 over, and missed the weekend’s golf.

Meanwhile, Peter Lawrie is the best placed of the Irish at The Championship at Laguna National, on 9 under. Simon Thronton is just a shot back after day 3.
