Kerry's Darran O'Sullivan suffered a hamstring tear during Sunday's Allianz National League defeat to Cork.
The All Ireland-winning forward has been managing his return to first-team action after hip surgery at the end of last year but will now have to face more treatment after the Kerry county board confirmed that the player suffered a hamstring tear during the early stages of the second half of the clash at Austin Stack Park.
Kerry's opening game of this year's Munster championship will be against either Tipperary or Limerick in the Munster semi-finals on the weekend of June 21st.
