Paul Green will start tomorrow night’s game against Sweden in Stockholm, while Robbie Brady will undergo a late assessment to see if he is suitably ready to play the game.
Giovanni Trapattoni named Robbie Keane and Shane Long up front, as expected, and goes with a 4-4-2 formation. Seamus Coleman starts the game at the right side of back four that includes John O’Shea and Ciaran Clark in the centre and Marc Wilson at left back.
James McLean will start on the left side of midfield, with Robbie Brady on the right – presuming he makes it.
Newstalk's Dave McIntyre has reported that Robbie Keane told reporters he expects to drop back into the middle of the park, creating a midfield five.
Keane: "my role will change as we're away from home, I'll drop in as an extra midfield player". Arguably better in the squad for that role.
