It has been a good day for the Irish at Rally Finland, as Dungannon's Kris Meeke took first place while Waterford's Craig Breen claimed his first ever World Rally Championship podium finish.
Meeke, whose co-driver Paul Nagle is from Killarney, had 29.1 seconds to spare over his nearest competitor for a first place finish.

Breen of the Abu Dhabi Total World Rally Team meanwhile took third for his first ever podium finish and described it as the "best day" of his his life on Twitter afterwards.
France's Sébastien Ogier leads the championship.
