It was the moment Gareth Bale really arrived at Real Madrid.
The Welshman already had 19 goals under his belt since his move from Tottenham, but the solo winner against Barcelona last night seems to have finally gained him full acceptance.
"Everyone will admit that the goal itself was pretty scruffy. Bale kind of scuffed it but I think it's better we don't concentrate on that because of the theatrical nature of the moment was fabulous and epic," our European football correspondent Graham Hunter said on Off The Ball tonight, praising Bale's attempts to adapt to a brand new environment.
"The trajectory from the time he got fully fit to now puts him in line to be considered pound for pound the most successful British export in his first season on the continent."

Graham also discussed the gigantic disparity between Barcelona and Lionel Messi over a potential new contract and where that leaves the four-time Ballon d'Or winner's future.
