Golden State Warriors suffered their first home league loss of the season on Friday night as the lost 106-109 to the Boston Celtics.

The Warriors were unbeaten at home for 54-games. A loss on January 27th, 2015 to the Chicago Bulls was the last time the Warriors lost at home in a regular-season match.

After the three-point loss, head coach Steve Kerr was looking on the positives of a historic run of wins in the Oracle Arena.

The loss puts pressure on the Warriors to become the most successful team in the history on an NBA regular season. Steph Curry and his teammates must now win five of their last six games to break the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' record of 72-10.

Four of the Warriors' remaining matches are at home, but the still have two matches (home and away) against the San Antonio Spurs who are the second best team in the NBA this season.

Friday night's match was dominated by Steph Curry who scored 29-points, but it was turnovers which cost the Warriors throughout the game.

Their next three matches are all at home. Their quest for 73-wins continues on Sunday night against the Portland Trail Blazers.
