Glenn Whelan will be fit for the Republic of Ireland's World Cup qualifier with Austria at the Aviva on Tuesday night.

The Stoke midfielder has recovered from the ankle injury that kept him out of Friday's draw in Sweden.

Irish skipper Robbie Keane had a scan on his calf this morning but is expected to be available.
