Over the weekend, our Diarmuid 'Gizzy' Lyng was down in the Kingdom for the 25th Comortas Peile Paidi O'Sé.

Over 1,000 players and almost 50 clubs from around the world took part in the annual festival.

Gizzy caught up with Paidi's nephew, Kerry footballer Marc O'Sé who praised Paidi's ability to bring sponsors and people to the area.

"It's fantastic to see the amount of teams that have come around. When you see February being such a quiet month, and everyone filtering into Dingle, it's great. Paidi started this competition off 25 years ago and he wanted to fill up West Kerry, because it was such a bleak time. He did that and every year it's getting stronger. Being the 25th year, this year it's great that there's over 1,000 players in West Kerry playing football for the weekend."

O'Sé also discussed the impact of Colm 'The Gooch' Cooper's season-ending injury and the young players who could help Kerry this year.
