Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud insists his side still have a slim chance of winning the Premier League, but he admits they need some luck in the final eight top flight games of the season.

Arsene Wenger's side are third in the table - seven points behind leaders Chelsea.

Giroud has just won the Premier League's player-of-the-month award for March, and when asked if a championship is in them he says Arsenal will keep fighting for the title.

"It will be difficult," admitted the Frenchman, "I try to be honest. We believe we need to win every single game, so let's win our game and then after we're going to look at the results."

Meanwhile, Wenger thinks Danny Welbeck has improved a lot since joining from Manchester United last summer.

The striker has scored eight goals for his club since arriving from Old Trafford, and scored six for England.

"He's a team player," said Wenger. "I believe that technically he's much more mature more composed in front of goal. The equality of his runs is getting better. He has huge attributes."
