The Mail Online are reporting that Arsenal could be without striker Olivier Giroud for 3 months.

The French forward damaged his foot against Everton on Saturday and he will undergo further scans to asses the damage fully.

Giroud also has an ankle injury and Arsene Wenger will hope the damage is not a serious as feared.

Should Giroud spend an elongated time on the bench then Arsenal may pursue Loic Remy who almost moved to Liverpool in recent weeks.

Defenders Moreno and Johnson are injury worries for Liverpool following last nights 3-1 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad.

Johnson failed to finish the game after picking up what appears to be a thigh or groin injury while Moreno damaged his ankle but had to finish the match as the Reds had used all their subs.
