It's been a bad season for Liverpool and the end of the season has been horrific with the results that they have had.
Brendan Rodgers is a man who puts his arms around the players and says "all the players are great".
I don't think he has the ability to give them a kick up the backside.
Alex Ferguson would give players what was called 'the hairdryer' and I don't think Brendan has that in him.
He is a bandwagon man with his "you're great lads, you're doing great".
If you lose a couple of matches, then the players say to themselves "we're not that great", so what they need is something else.
I think it's going to be difficult because he doesn't have the resources to match the top clubs and there's a lot of players now with them having a bad season who won't want to join them because they're not in the Champions League again.
So he's going to have a difficult time and they need replacements.
You have got the [Raheem] Sterling situation as well and that's not going to be resolved easily. I think they will have to let him go because in two years' time they'll get nothing for him and if he's determined to leave and they get €50-60M for him now, especially the business people at Liverpool will say 'we can't afford to [let that money go]'.
