Angela Merkel has been critical of Ireland's response to the ongoing refugee crisis, but it seems that people around Germany are ready to welcome and help as many people as they can. 

In a series of demonstrations around the grounds at Bundesliga games yesterday, a number of fan groups displayed banners proclaiming that those seeking refuge in Germany were welcome. 

The images, captured in Wolfsburg's and Bayern Munich's stadiums, amongst many others, are clear in their support of all those people who have been displaced.
