Former England and Manchester United centre half Gary Pallister spoke to Ger and Joe tonight at the Off the Ball Roadshow in The Helix.
Pallister joined United from Middlesbrough in 1989 as Paul McGrath was leaving the club and he spoke in The Helix about his time at the club.
Paul was on stage with Gary to speak about their time on opposing teams including when Aston Villa shocked Manchester United to win the League Cup in 1994 by three goals to one.
Pallister was an integral part of United's early Premier League dominance and he spoke about Eric Cantona's arrival at the club and how it changed the future of the club.
The England centre half was part on the England side that lost to Ireland 1-0 in 1995 and he admitted he played a role in David Kelly's famous goal that night, playing the goalscorer onside.
The Off the Ball Helix Roadshow was with thanks to Ford the official vehicle partner of the Irish football team, helping drive success both on and off the pitch. Ford go Further.
