McGrath's tally of 2-5 included 0-4 from the dead ball and his composure saw the Limerick college turn around a two-point half-time deficit.

UL hit 1-5 without reply at the beginning of the second half and two goals in as many minutes just before the hour mark consigned the Dublin college to defeat.

Below are some of the highlights from today's game.

Mary Immaculate College 0-11

Limerick IT 0-9

Wet conditions plagued both sides during Mary I's victory over Limerick IT in the second of today's Fitzgibbon Cup semi-finals.

In a low scoring encounter, Davy Fitz's LIT side were out scored from the dead ball as Limerick senior Declan Hannon accounted for six of Mary I's final tally, consisting of five frees and a '65.

LIT led at the break but poor shooting allowed Mary I back into the game and overturn a four-point half-time deficit to book their spot in the final.
