Cork narrowly avoided a huge upset when they overcame Waterford by the narrowest margin at Faher Field in the Munster Senior Football Championship quarter-final. 

Paul Kerrigan top-scored for the Rebel county with 1-03 as they advance to a provincial semi-final against Tipperary.
