Cork City head into their Europa League qualifying second leg tie against Linfield in a strong position after a 1-0 win this evening.

Sean Maguire scored the only goal of the game from the spot in Belfast to leave the tie balanced in their favour for the return tie next month.

Maguire beat former Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll this evening, with Carroll having recently signed a deal with David Healy's side.
