Gareth Maybin finished best of the Irish on 13 under which was two ahead of Peter Lawrie.

Meanwhile in the US, Padraig Harrington's in a share of third place going into the final round of the Phoenix Open.

The three time major winner is 16 under par which is eight shots behind leader Phil Mickelson.
