Tipperary's Brian Fox and Michael Quinlivan have been ruled out of next Sunday's Munster championship quarter-final against Kerry in Killarney.
According to the Examiner, Fox is recovering from surgery on his hand while Quinlivan intends to travel over the summer.
However their captain Philip Austin is set to return to the forward line having missed their league campaign with a shoulder injury.
Defender Ciaran McDonald is also set for a return.
Laois v Louth
Laois and Louth have named their teams for this Sunday's Leinster Championship clash in O'Moore Park.
For Laois, Connor Boyle partners Brendan Quigley in midfield while Donie Kingston comes into the half forward line with Ross Munnelly and Colm Begley.
Captain John O'Loughlin is named at centre back.
Louth manager Aidan O'Rourke has gone with Paddy Keenan and Brian Donnelly in midfield with Andy Mc Donnell at wing-forward and Brian White at centre-forward.
Shane Lennon is full-forward.
