Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund have been dealt more bad news on the injury front.
Defender Mats Hummels has been diagnosed with a foot injury after limping off against England last night.
The Germany international will return in mid-January.
Left-back Marcel Schmelzer is also out of action for three weeks with a calf problem.
Dortmund's injury problems are mounting ahead of a crucial match against Bayern Munich this weekend and clashes against Marseille and Napoli in the Champions League.
The Bundesliga's second placed team have already lost centre-back Neven Subotic for the rest of the season after he tore his anterior cruciate ligament.
Right back Lukasz Piszczek has not played this season after surgery in the summer. He is set to return sometime next month.
Midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has also been out of action since mid-August with a long-term back injury. He may not return until after the Christmas break.
