Mayo forward Alan Freeman was delighted with the 0-21 to 0-9 victory over Roscommon as the reigning Connacht champions moved a step closer to retaining their title.
But Mayo forward Alan Freeman saw the game as quite a lot of good, a little bit of bad and traces of ugly at the end.
"We are a bit slow at the start, a bit sloppy at the end but in the middle we played some good football," Freeman told Newstalk Breakfast's Oisin Langan.
The second half was a one-sided affair, although the Mayo forward admitted some intensity was lost in the last 10 minutes of the match.
"We kicked some nice points in that second half but [the lack of a goal] was a bit disappointing from a forward's point of view," he said.
