France have lost the services of both of their frontline hookers ahead of Saturday's Six Nations tie with Scotland.
Racing Metro star Dimitri Szarzewski picked up an ankle injury over the weekend to join his counterpart Benjamin Kayser, who is out for another month with a knee problem.
Szarzewski says he remains hopeful of being available for the final weekend match against Ireland, but Brice Mach of Castres and Perpignan's Guilhem Guirado will now be vying for a starting place against Scotland.
