Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Roberto Wilson is training with the Breaffy footballers in place of Aidan O'Shea, who has headed to the U.S. to try his hand at American football.

The swap is part of the new series of The Toughest, in which Irish athletes swap their sport of choice for an overseas game, with stars from the foreign games travelling the other way.

Notably, David Bentley tried his hand at Gaelic football when he lined out for Crossmaglen and proved himself capable of taking his points when needed.

Wallace will be hoping to follow in his footsteps, and is a phenomenal athlete: at a shade over 220lbs and nearly 6'4", he has pace to burn after completing the 40 yard dash in 4.49 seconds during the NFL combine.

He seems to be putting those abilities to good use with Breaffy too, according to reports. Speaking to Sports JOE, Cian Breathnach McGinn stated that he was asked to do a few one on one drills with him this week and revealed that Wilson was "lightning fast", had an incredible jump and was popping the ball over the bar without much hassle.

Wallace was training at the Connacht GAA centre of excellence, under the watchful eye of James Horan. He may well be one to watch too as Breaffy have a challenge match on the weekend, in which Wallace is expected to feature.
