Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella claims that Colombian international winger Juan Cuadrado has signed for Chelsea.
The Blues are believed to have agreed a €31M deal with the Serie A club and is set to complete a medical tomorrow.
Wingers Mohamed Salah and Andre Schurrle are likely to depart Stamford Bridge to pave the way for the move.
In a press conference today, Montella suggested that Salah will arrive in Florence on loan in place of Cuadrado.
"[The sale of Cuadrado] had to be done. As a coach I’m sorry because technically he is such a good player but the club has made the right decision," said the former Roma and Italy striker.
"We get a great player in Salah although we will need some time to adapt to each other."
