This time last week, Bray's Finn Balor was preparing for the biggest match of his career at SummerSlam.

Balor (aka Fergal Devitt) had only joined WWE's main roster in the previous month, and had already become one of the companies' biggest stars due to his work on NXT, WWE's junior brand. 

After winning the WWE Universal Title at SummerSlam, he was forced to vacate the title the following night, after it was revealed he dislocated his shoulder (and popped it back in) during the win. 

Balor is not expected to return to the ring for five or six months, and may feature at the Royal Rumble in late January, if the recovery happens ahead of schedule.

The 35-year-old has already had his surgery in Alabama, with the Wicklow star has already posted a picture post-surgery of his shoulder. The Irish wrestler will hopefully be back in the ring sooner, rather than later.
