PJ Lavery has become the fifth player to leave the Tyrone panel following their relegation to Division 2 of the National Football League.

The half-forward started just one of their seven league games, but came on as a sub in the other six.

Last week saw Dwayne Quinn, Paddy McNeice, Shay McGuigan and Emmet McKenna all walk away from the panel frustrated at a lack of game time.

Tyrone face Donegal in the opening round of the Ulster Football Championship in just under  five weeks' time.
