A stable team for so long during the Michael Schumacher era, it's all change for the Prancing Horse lately.

There has been another change at the top of the Ferrari Formula One team.

Marco Mattiacci has been axed as team principal after just seven months in the job.

But after failing to make much of an impact, and having lost Fernando Alonso to McLaren he has been replaced by Maurizio Arrivabene.

Mattiacci initially replaced Stefano Domenicali who was team principal between 2008 and 2014.

Ferrari have won the most constructors championships with 16, but they last claimed that trophy in 2008.

They also have not claimed a drivers title since 2007 when Kimi Raikkonen triumphed.
