The Football Association has confirmed that Paul Elliott has resigned from all his roles representing the organisation.

It follows a conversation between the ex-Chelsea player and former Charlton star Richard Rufus, where discriminatory abusive comments were made.

Elliott has also left his role at the anti-racism group Kick It Out.
